Strongbox temporarily stores an access token so that an updated reports can be collected later from online accounting system. Strongbox users can disconnect the link through their portal.
When you connect to an online accounting system to create a collection in Strongbox, a token is stored temporarily - typically for 90 days. This includes QuickBooks Online, Xero, Oracle NetSuite, and Sage Intacct.
This stored token allows Strongbox users to request new reports from their clients when data has been updated. However, there may be times when you need to disconnect Strongbox from the system early at the end of a project.
Users can cancel the saved link in their Strongbox portal as outlined below.
Disconnect an active connection through the Strongbox Portal:
- Find the related Workspace in your Strongbox Portal.
- Open the Manage Active Connections tab.
- Click on the delete button under the Actions Column.
Alternatively, company administrators can disconnect through their accounting systems.
